As you probably will have gathered, I have been hard at work trying to get my album finished. I am still in the process of deciding the final tracklist but in the process I thought I would give you a sample of the tracks that will be on the album along with the tracks that won't be on it but needed to be released in their own entity.

Like the album, all these tracks were recorded in an old cricket shack, now known as 'The Cranbrook Centre', in Valentines Park. It is now the home of the Redbridge Music Lounge. I used the bathroom in the corner of the shack as a vocal booth with natural reverb so there feels like more of a seperation of vocals from the rest of the instruments. I was looking for a raw sound - the type of lo-fi in-your-face alternative soul sound that will make the listener uncomfortable. I'm not one for trying to be slick, this sound you hear is who I am at this moment in time. No accidents and no pandering, It's all deliberate. Lyrically, I'm looking at what's going on now and how it has affected me personally. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Wait until I finish the album.
